You should be able to take the memory card out of your camera and access the pics on it with a card reader in your pc.

you can probably find one of those cords at some place like Radio Shack. It might cost maybe $6 at the most.

It's actually a pretty common USB cord type. A lot of devices use it. Right now, I'm using one that works with my MP3 player and my little portable hard drive. I mean, I could have one cord for each thing, but I'll only have one of these devices plugged into the computer at any given time, so why bother, right?

I have to use an old external card reader for my camera's memory card, because the stupid thing can't be connected to a computer. It's pretty old. We're talking Pre-USB here. Also, most newer card readers don't even support SmartMedia memory cards any more. But I refuse to throw away something that still works just because there is something new out there.
